Healthfix has designed its own group strength classes designed to work on your baseline of strength and beyond. Our aim is to build your capacity to handle all of life’s demands, be it at the Health Club, with your sports team, at home or in the office. Strength is associated with a better quality of life, improved performance in carrying out day-to-day functional tasks and – in the most basic sense – it keeps muscles, bones and joints strong, enabling you to move around better and reduce the risk of osteoporosis. We have 2 strength classes on offer here at Healthfix – Total Strength and Strength & Fitness.

Total Strength 

Total Strength is a structured 12-week resistance training program that uses a combination of traditional strength and bodyweight exercises to increase your strength and muscular endurance while building lean mass in all the right muscle groups.

Strength & Fitness

Strength & Fitness is a hybrid style group class that improves strength, speed, and power along with your general fitness levels. You can expect to jump, squat, push, pull, bike, row and run all the way to the finish line!
