Jordan Kain

It is Jordan’s core belief that nutrition is incredibly personal, therefore she utilises an individualised approach with each and every client that she sees. Jordan strives to guide, educate and empower her clients toward a place where they feel happier and healthier, confident in their own food choices and are progressing toward the best versions of themselves that they can be. “Love the food you eat. Live the life you love” is Jordan’s mission, striving to reduce the uncertainty around dietary science, and bring the joy back to food, cooking and nutrition. Jordan studied Exercise and Sport Science and holds a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Sydney. She has been practicing dietetics in the private space in Sydney since the completion of her degree. Jordan prides herself on continuously learning and keeping up to date with the latest nutrition research through professional development opportunities. Jordan is an enthusiastic “home chef”, constantly experimenting to create new, delicious recipes for her clients (and family!) or working to optimise the nutrition of other’s recipes.

Talia Braun

After 10 years in the science field in both food and medicine, and completing a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics in 2017, Talia has now dedicated her expertise towards changing the way people interact with food. Being a representative for NSW health, a consultant for the Agency of Clinical Innovation and a published scientific author Talia aims to provide evidenced based nutrition advice that actually works. In other words, Talia sift through all the false claims for you, and present you with the truth. Whether your goal is weight loss, gut health, or diabetes management, this is a judgement-free zone, full of realistic approaches and no “life hacks” to speak of. There’s no quick fix, or one size fits all solution, which is why Talia tailors each plan to the individual in a long term collaboration. No two people are the same, so why should their diets be? Talia believes your relationship with food is one of the longest you’ll have in your life, you might as well make it a good one. Talia has also completed a certificate from Monash University on the low FODMAP diet for Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

Melissa Juergens

Bsc & M Nutrition & Dietetics
Melissa is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA). She has a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Sydney, her Bachelor of Applied Science, Exercise and Sports Science, also makes her an Exercise Scientist, and she has previous experience as a personal trainer. She believes that being healthy encompasses not just diet and exercise but also your sleep patterns and mental health. Everyone is different. Each individual has their own stresses, jobs, day to day routines, sleep patterns, hormone levels, biochemical makeup, taste buds, bone composition and many more. With this in mind, how can it be that there is one way of eating that simply suits everyone? She finds diet patterns that suit an individual’s lifestyle, their body and helps them achieve their individualised goals, whilst also not feeling as though they are restricted. On too many occasions she’s seen individuals partake in the latest “diet” cutting out foods they love, feeling constrained and then relapsing as soon as life gets in the way. Instead, Melissa will work with you to create a lifestyle change sustainable and best suited to your unique situation. Helping you understand and appreciate how food can nourish our bodies and ultimately help us to function at our optimal capacity whilst also reducing our risk of chronic disease. Personally, she loves being active, her ‘sport’ has always been dancing, which she’s done since she was 4, and has more recently been a Manly Seabird. However, she doesn’t shy away from the gym and her strength work or working on her running – plan is a half marathon this year.
