July 10th – Our Health Care Response Due to COVID-19

  Health care healthfix Hello again to our dear Healthfix community, We hope you and your families are navigating the changes as best as you can and that you’re all in good health.  We are so grateful to be able to continue to help you with your health care needs during this time, we know that it is nice to feel in control of something at the moment!   Please see our health care response to the updated restrictions passed today (July 9th).
  • All Group Fitness classes will be conducted on Zoom.
  • If you were booked into a group class for tomorrow/next week, you’ve automatically been booked into the Zoom session and the details have been sent to your email.
  • If you’re looking to increase your Group Fitness classes, please do so here or you can email us 😊
  • One on one PT sessions are only available for individuals who live within a 10kms of St Leonards park.
  • One on one EP sessions will continue, even for those outside of the 10km radius if your health condition were to worsen from not attending your exercise session.
  • If you live outside of this 10km radius please rest assured that one on one Zoom PT sessions are a little different but still fun and really effective.
  • Semi-private PT sessions will need to move to Zoom OR the group will need to break into one on one sessions.
  • Member mentor check ins & Wellness Coaching sessions will be delivered via Zoom
  • Our in clinic, clinical consultations – AEP, physiotherapy and dietetics sessions can continue with the current restrictions in place and we will continue our COVID Safe practices to keep you safe and confident in using the clinics to help you with your needs.
  • We do however, recommend that you move your session to telehealth if possible.

We understand that perhaps your preferred method of health care delivery may change but that your health care concern(s) haven’t gone away.

It’s always about planning and not being fixed on a plan. Know that your incredible Healthfix team member will be forward planning up to 4 weeks at this stage to ensure that you are getting the most effective care possible, under the circumstances.

What to do? The next steps…

Expect your treatment plan to continue and expect to make continued progress towards your goals. We will be ready to carry out your appointment(s) booked over the next 2 – 4 weeks and beyond. We’ve been here before, we know how to do a great job for you! Our reception team will continue to be amazingly helpful in making health care adjustments to your appointment(s) as needed. And again, a big thank you to you in the meantime for your patience and flexibility over this period.
