March 2018 Blitz Update
Week 2 of the BLITZ now coming to an end. Our goals are set, we are training hard and we are sticking to our dietary plans. These plans are set to forge long term, sustainable habits that our current members can stick to! Base recommendations for physical activity from the most recent WHO study indicates we should perform-
2.5 – 5 hours of moderate intensity exercise or
1.25 – 2.5 hours of vigorous intensity exercise or
An equivalent combination of these
2 days of strength work
The BLITZ content so far has touched on positive self talk and reinforcement, goal setting, how results really happen (in order) and nutrition for weight loss.
Early success stories so far
Deb: exercise, dietary and sleep compliance. Regaining her strength and mobility that is giving her the confidence to attempt daily tasks that were previously too hard like walking up the stairs. Deb has had an incredible story to reach this point that we’d hope to share with you one day.
Darren: Alcohol reduction, Re-established a healthy dietary approach, while adhering to his exercise plan, resulting in 3kg weight loss already
