As an Accredited Practicing Dietitian, Jo's passion in health, fitness and the human body has contributed to creating an unique approach to a healthy lifestyle and good nutrition.

Her keen interest in healthy eating as means to improve quality of life and prevent disease led Jo to studying a Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics and undertaking further studies in Fitness, Public Health and Sports Nutrition.

Jo follows a client centred approach assisting people on the management of a number of medical conditions as well as diet related issues. She educates and empowers others through a personalised approach to nutrition, translating evidence based information into simple dietary advice and encouraging people to make better food choices.

For future moms and pregnant women Jo can offer advice on adequate nutrient intake to support the mother's health as well as baby development throughout pregnancy. This includes advice on how to increase particular micronutrients in their diet, tips on food safety/hygiene to prevent infections that can put pregnancy at risk, as well as advice on the management of common symptoms that occur during pregnancy such as nausea, vomiting, heart burn and constipation.
